Luke Thomas Shadden, 24, left his earthly home and entered into heaven unexpectedly, Tuesday March 5, 2024.
Luke was born prematurely, on October 24, 1999, weighing only 2 pounds 3 ounces. Our Gracious Heavenly Father allowed his tiny body to thrive and he grew up to be such a healthy, handsome young man He was dearly loved by his parents and brother and all who knew him. His Mom will tell you he had a magnificent smile and gave the best hugs. Our family needs a lot of prayers, as we cannot imagine how we will go on without him.
Luke and his older brother Logan, loved each other so much. They were ten years apart but you would never know it. They were best friends...always. Besides his brother Logan, Luke is survived by his parents, Jeff and Robin. They thanked God for every day they had with Luke, adored him and cherished this special gift from God. He has one surviving grandparent, Shirley Shadden. Two uncles, Mike Hall (Risa) and Brent Shadden. Many cousins and a host of longtime friends. He leaves behind his beloved cats, Shelby and Big Tony.
Luke was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Virginia Hall and his paternal grandfather, John T. (JT) Shadden.
He spent a lot of time when he was young with his Grandmother Jenny. When he was so sick and his Mom worried about him, she would always say, " Don't worry about Luke, he is a scrapper". His Papaw John named him and he would fight for the opportunity to pick up his boy at Stuart School. His Mamaw Shirley and Luke spent a lot of time together at the local Farmers Market.
Luke attended George R. Stuart Elementary School, Cleveland Middle School and graduated Cleveland High School in 2019. He has spent the last three years working alongside his Dad at the family car dealership. The customers, vendors and other dealers adored Luke as well.
We will celebrate Luke's life on Sunday March 10, 2024 at Westwood Baptist Church. Visitation is from 2pm-5pm with the service at 5pm. Rev. Al Anderson will conduct the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any of the following organizations in Luke's memory.
