Lupe Flores Najar October 27, 1932 – October 4, 2025
Lupe Flores Najar peacefully passed away at her home on October 4, 2025, at the age of 92. She was born on October 27, 1932, to Pedro and Guadalupe Flores. A devoted Catholic, she prayed her rosary daily and was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Church.
Her gentle spirit, kind heart, and warm presence were gifts to everyone who knew her. She instilled in her family the values of respect, compassion, and faith in God, and she always had a kind word and a welcoming smile and wink for all. Her love and grace shaped our family, and we will forever honor the heart and soul she poured into us.
Lupe was the heart of our home and will be lovingly remembered by her five children: Rudolph Najar, Jr.; Ramona Dominguez (Robert); Linda Burrola (Rich); Tony Najar (Jill); and Lydia Lara Dominguez. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Rick Najar (Teresa), Kristy Torres (Josh), Autumn Najar, Laurie Alvidrez (Eddie), Melissa Dominguez, Jason Dominguez (Alisha), Louie Cobos (Vanessa), Lenora Bealer, Ryan Najar (Jennifer), Maranda Najar (Justin), Derek Najar (Kahil), Richard Lara (Tara), Erin Lara (Matthew), and Gerald Carrillo (Veronica); 36 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rudolph Najar, Sr.; her parents, Pedro and Guadalupe Flores; and her granddaughter, Desiree Najar.
Family was Lupe’s greatest joy and her life’s purpose. She had a remarkable way of making each person feel deeply loved and special—never wanting anyone to feel left out or less than. Every member of her family holds a cherished memory of her kindness, her laughter, and her unwavering love. She often blessed us with her favorite words, “God bless your little heart,” a phrase that now echoes as a tender reminder of her enduring spirit. Her love, strength, and faith will continue to live on through all whose lives she touched.
The family would like to give thanks to Gentiva Hospice for their help caring for Mom.
A viewing and rosary will be held on Thursday, October 23rd at Ballard Funeral Home at 4:00 pm with the rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. A mass is scheduled at St. John the Baptist Church on October 24th at 10:00 am.
