Mitchell “Mitch” F. Najar died Thursday, January 29th at his home.
He was born December 24, 1934, in Gary, Indiana to Bernard and Mary (Gregor) Najar, who preceded him in death. He graduated from Edison High School in Lake Station, Indiana.
He is survived by Kathy, his wife of 50 years. He is also survived by his son Tim (Becky), grandsons Matt (Shannon), Zach, and Kyle (Leah), great granddaughters Madison, Cloe and Bella, and great grandson James. Also surviving are brother Joe (Kathy) and sister Cookie Messer, both of Portage, Indiana.
Mitch worked in the grocery business for many years and ended his career in the RV supply business. He enjoyed football, military history and anything about airplanes. He was a private man with great humor, quiet gratitude, and a deep love for his family and friends.
A time of sharing and remembering and chocolate will be held at a later date.
