Luretta Marie Larson age 93 formerly of Baldwin went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 31, 2025. She was residing at the Spring Valley Health and Rehab.
She was born March 30, 1932 in Emerald, WI. One of six children born to Clarence and Hazel Fleming. She grew up and attended school in Emerald.
Luretta later earned an Associate’s Degree from the U of MN.
In November of 1964 she and Charles Larson were married. They made their home in Central Minnesota, and were blessed with the birth of their daughter Lara.
After retiring, she moved to Baldwin in 2004.
She enjoyed swimming, reading, walking, listening to Christian music, riding her motorcycle for a time, dogs, and horses.
Luretta was a caring spirit who loved to volunteer. She helped at Abused Women’s Centers, and the Salvation Army. She was active in the churches that she attended and was currently a member of the Village Church, in Baldwin.
Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters Betty Burton, Grace Hartwig, & Mary Lou Goodwin, and many beloved family dogs.
Survived by her daughter Lara (Jenrose) Kelland of St. Louis, MO; two brothers Clarence Fleming and Allen, who passed away January 1, 2026 (Janice) Fleming; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service 11 AM Monday, January 5th at the Village Church, Baldwin. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Private interment Greenwood Cemetery, Emerald.
Memorials are preferred to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
Arrangements entrusted to the O’Connell Funeral Home, Baldwin.
