LURLENE PIERCE Obituary
Lurlene Wilma Pierce, born on March 9, 1935, in Longview, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. Lurlene's journey through life was marked by her immense love for family and friends, along with heryielding spirit of kindness and joy.
A very caring and joyful person, Lurlene was known for her warm, nurturing heart and her ability to spread happiness wherever she went. She had a passion for cooking that brought family and friends together, creating lasting memories over shared meals. Additionally, Lurlene enjoyed sewing, crafting beautiful creations that reflected her creativity and attentiveness to detail. Above all, her love for children shone brightly throughout her life, as she consistently filled their lives with laughter and love, embodying the essence of maternal warmth.
Her legacy will be celebrated at a viewing on January 23, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. The funeral service will take place the following day, January 24, 2025, at 1:00 PM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas. Finally, Lurlene will be laid to rest in a burial service on January 29, 2025, at 2:30 PM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, located at 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.
Lurlene Wilma Pierce is remembered fondly for her vibrant spirit, unwavering love, and the beautiful impact she had on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her community and those whose lives she touched with her kindness.
