Luther Bow

Luther William Bow, Jr., age 57, passed away on February 1, 2025 in Henderson, NV. Luther was born on September 8, 1967 in Las Vegas, NV to Luther William Bow Sr. and Rephenelda Mae Pickayviett. He married Wileen Dixon on October 22, 1993 in Cedar City, UT. 

Luther loved his children and caring for his daughter, Treasure. He enjoyed playing basketball in school and playing on the Rez. Luther worked building cabins in southern Utah, and helped build the solar plants in southern Nevada. He was fun to be around and he liked to party with friends. He loved his dog, Bow Bow, and eating out.

Luther is survived by his children, Luther Bow III and Treasure Bow; his grandson, Isaac Bow; his sisters, Tina (Mark) Hamilton and Betty Walker; and his large extended family, which includes many nieces, nephews, and cousins throughout Paiute country. He is preceded in death by his wife, Wileen Bow; his children, Lucinda, Alexandria, and Bailey; his parents, Luther Sr. and Rephenelda Bow; and his siblings, Eulalia Hartt and Robert Walker.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the Moapa Tribal Center, 1 Lincoln Avenue, Moapa, NV, followed by a Funeral service at 2:30-4:00 p.m. A Traditional Sing will be held that night with interment at sunrise at the Moapa Tribal cemetery.
