Luz Andino, known as Wanda, born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, passed away at 66 years old on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024, due to a brainstem hemorrhagic stroke at York Hospital. She was surrounded by family and left behind five children Luis, Elizabeth, Kimberly, Alexandra and Jayme and 13 grandchildren Deshai, Brian, Desriana, Jacob, David, Elijah, Autum, Jayden, Emily, Kaylin, Lyric, Amari and Leilani.
She left us too soon, a dedicated retired teacher aide in New York and York, PA. She was an avid thrift shopper and collector of barbie dolls, tea sets, and beautiful alcohol bottles. Her love for Chinese shows was unmatched. A devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, her presence was unforgettable as she showered her family with love and care. She cherished Sundays spent at church and enjoying lunch afterward. An incredible cook, she put so much love into every meal that many will miss her delicious food. With an amazing heart of gold, we are all blessed to have been graced by her presence.
Now residing in heaven alongside her mother, Miguelina, father Jose, and brother Polo, Wanda left behind countless people whose lives were enrichened by knowing her.
