Luz Nereida Rivera

Luz Nereida Rivera, 72, of Montgomery, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday December 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 20, 1953 in Puerto Rico; daughter of Benito and Juanita Rivera. Luz was employed as a soap finisher at Dial Corporation for over 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, shopping and cooking for her loved ones. She also enjoyed listening to music and she loved to dance; but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Luz is survived by her 2 daughters; Janet (Alex) Rivera and Diana (Ryan) Green and a son, Miguel (Eileen). 3 grandchildren; Ava, Illiana and Michael. 4 brothers; German, Edwin, Orlando (Maria), Eduardo (Layda) and a sister, Magda (Mato); along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Luz is preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers; Moises (Ada) and Victor (the late Yolanda).
