Michael Dixon Obituary
Michael had a deep love for fishing, finding peace and joy on the water. He also loved to sing and was a wonderful father and a very hard worker. Michael cherished family gatherings and wanted nothing more than for everyone to get along. Known for his honesty, caring nature, and huge heart, he was always willing to help others. His kindness, love for family, and generous spirit will be remembered always.
He is survived by his wife Cinthia Pamela; children, Jayden Dixon and Gabriela Cruz; mother, Maria (Romero "Tony") Chavez; siblings, Scott (Amy) Dixon, Tammy Smith, Sheri Dixon, Jeff (Jennifer) Dixon, David (Lisa) De La Cruz, Ramon De La Cruz, Ruben (Liz) De La Cruz and Jennifer (Kevin) Page. He is also survived by many in-laws, aunts, uncles, beloved cousins, nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Dixon and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Family will be receiving guests on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral will be on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Stickney, IL.
