Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cantelmi Long Funeral Home - Bethlehem on Feb. 17, 2026.
Luz E. Robinson, 47, of
Bethlehem, PA, entered eternal rest on Friday, February 13, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospice House, surrounded by the deep love of her family. Though her time here feels far too short, the impact of her life will be felt for generations.
Luz was the beloved wife of Steadman S. Robinson and a devoted mother whose world revolved around her family. Born in
Newark, NJ, she was the cherished daughter of Luz E. Martinez of Bethlehem and the late Miguel Angel Ezpinoza. She was a resilient woman strong in faith, fierce in love, and unwavering in her commitment to her family and community. No matter what life placed before her, she met it with courage, grace, and determination.
After graduating from Barringer High School in Newark in 1996, Luz pursued her dreams through education. She earned her Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Psychology from Northampton Community College in 2015 and went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2017. She believed deeply in perseverance and led by example, showing her children that it is never too late to grow, learn, and achieve.
Professionally, Luz dedicated herself to helping others. She served as a Lead Medical Receptionist for InSite Health, MD for the past three years and previously worked as a Psychiatric Assistant at J. Snyder Therapeutic Services in
Blue Bell, PA for five years. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Legal Assistant for Weinstock Immigration Lawyers and as a Field Manager for Molly Maid in
Atlanta, GA. In every role, she carried herself with excellence and compassion.
Her heart for service extended far beyond her career. Luz was the founder of the nonprofit Influential Butterfly, through which she fed the homeless in Bethlehem and Atlanta for many years. She didn't just speak about kindness she lived it daily. She gave selflessly, often putting others before herself.
Luz was not only a mother to her own children, but a "bonus mom" to countless children throughout the community. Her home, her kitchen, and her heart were always open. Many found comfort, guidance, laughter, and love in her presence. She mentored, nurtured, and uplifted young people as if they were her own, leaving an imprint on lives that will never forget her warmth.
As a faithful woman of God, Luz attended Life Church in Bethlehem and was a devoted member of the former Esperanza for Bethlehem Moravian Church, where she served as Kitchen Director and Mentor for over 12 years. She also faithfully participated in the Feed the Hungry Walk for 11 years, standing in the gap for those in need.
Beyond her accomplishments, Luz found joy in cooking meals that brought everyone together, capturing special moments through photography, and creating beautiful DIY crafts. Her laughter filled rooms, her hugs brought comfort, and her strength inspired all who knew her.
Survivors: She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband; her children, Isaac Robinson, Jonah Robinson, Joel Nieves, Tatiana Robinson, Noel Nieves, Caleb Robinson, and Skyleene Nieves; her twin sisters, Jessica Martinez and Jesenia Martinez; her brothers, Lionel Aris Perez and Jesus M. Martinez; her beloved grandson, Jakaius Robinson; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever changed by her love.
Luz's life was a testimony of resilience, faith, service, and unconditional love. She was a light in her family, a pillar in her community, and a blessing to all who had the honor of knowing her. Though she is no longer physically present, her legacy lives on in every heart she touched.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18
