Luzviminda "Emily" Cabugao Espinoza of Hercules, California, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on June 20, 1956, in Dagupan City, Pangasinan, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Esteban Cabugao and Crispina Cabugao. She was the beloved wife of Rodrigo Espinoza for 43 years; loving mother of Rachel Espinoza (James) and Jason (Christine) Espinoza; and devoted grandmother to Cecilia Anne Espinoza. Emily is also survived by seven brothers: Ely (Jane), Rodolfo (Josefina), Abraham (Esperanza), Conrado (Marietta), Jessie (Aurora), Lindy (Leila), and Raul (Kathleen) Cabugao, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Wilfredo (Sally) Cabugao.
Emily was a dedicated registered nurse for over 35 years, offering comfort and care to countless patients. During her retirement, she enjoyed gardening, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and serving the local community and Pinole United Methodist Church.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on May 21st from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Wilson & Kratzer Chapel of the Mission Bells, 13644 San Pablo Avenue, San Pablo, California 94806.
A Celebration of Life and Thanksgiving Service will be held on May 22nd at 10:00 AM at Pinole United Methodist Church, 2000 San Pablo Avenue, Pinole, California.
Committal will follow at Rolling Hills Memorial Park, 4100 Hilltop Drive, Richmond, California 94803.
