Lydia Taylor Obituary
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, RJ "Bud" Taylor, sister, Ursula Pope, grandson, Matthew Taylor Smith and her son-in-law, William "Pee Wee" Smith.
She is survived by her daughters, Laura Smith of Morehead City and Cathy Johanns and her husband Scott of Rougemont; grandchildren, William Stevie Smith and his wife Erika, Carrie Anne Tripp and her husband Phillip, Zachary Scott Johanns and his wife Jaclyn and Nicholas Ryan Johanns and ten great grandchildren.
Mama loved the Lord and loved her family. She especially loved being Mema for grandkids.
Laura and Cathy want to thank the nurses and staff at Carteret HealthCare Hospital for the compassion and care given to mama and to them.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to, Hope Mission of Carteret County, 1209 Arendell Street, Morehead City, NC 28557.
