Lyle Besner Obituary
66 year old, Lyle L. Besner, of Rensselaer, passed away March 21, 2025, with his loving family around him.
On June 19, 1958, Lyle was born to Allen and Nadene (Young) Besner, in Manistique, Michigan. He married the love of his life, Susan Kerkes on June 24, 1978, in Kouts, Indiana. Lyle worked as a 150 Operating Engineer for over 25+ years. He enjoyed fishing, and feeding his outside birds. He gardened some. He absolutely adored his grandchildren.
Lyle is survived by his loving family, wife: Susan, grandchildren: Danielle Besner, and Lucas Besner, daughter-in-law: Selena Besner, siblings: Alyn (Janet) Besner, Carrie Roan, Tami (Larry) Myers, and Nadine Allee.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents: Allen & Nadine, sons: Robert, Michael, and twin sons: Timothy & Thomas.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Kankakee Township Cemetery, Wheatfield, Indiana.
