Lyle E. Reuber

Lyle E. Reuber, 87, of Freeport, IL, passed away on March 13, 2024 at Manor Court at Liberty Village in Freeport. He was born August 7, 1936 in Freeport, IL, to parents Walter Reuber and Vivian Reuber (Shippy). He was a 1954 graduate of Dakota High School. He married Joyce Sager, Sept. 20, 1958 in Dakota. She passed away Oct. 4, 1992. He later married Rosemary Korwin Sept. 28,1996. He was a Screw Machine operator at CamCar in Rockford, and drove school bus for the Dakota School District.
Survivors include his Sons: Todd (Amy) Reuber and Greg Reuber; wife Rosemary Reuber, daughters-in-law: Colleen Reuber and Kathy Reuber; brother Merle (Lois) Reuber, sister Marian Barr, grandchildren: Scott Reuber, Leah Reuber, Nilsa Reuber and great-granddaughter Eivor Reuber.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Vivian, wife Joyce, sons: Mark and Scott; siblings: Robert Reuber, Lois Meier, Theora DeGroff and Doris Meinert; and grandson Micah Reuber.
A visitation will be held on Wed. March 20, 2024, from 9 AM until 12 noon, at the Schwarz Park Blvd, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL. A luncheon will follow at the chapel.
