Lynda J. Goeman, age 71 of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, WI.
Lynda was born November 30, 1951 in Milwaukee, WI to Jeannie (nee Allen) and Mylford Hofstad. Lynda graduated Cedarburg High School, class of 1968. She was united in marriage to Michael K. Goeman on April 14, 1989 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lynda was devoted to her faith and was a longtime member of Divine Savior Lutheran Church in Hartford. She enjoyed watching her shows including Lifetime movies, Hells Kitchen, Master Chef, and The Bold and the Beautiful. Lynda also enjoyed going to the county and state fairs, watching Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers Football.
Lynda is survived by her daughters, Michelle Wallis and Yviette Morris; grandchildren, Branden (fiancé, Amanda) Hofstad, Tosha (Dallas) and Amber Wallis, Devondra (Jacob), Deedra, and Montell Morris; great-granddaughter, Nirvana Applegate; brother, Ron (Pat) Hofstad; and caregiver and friend, Ides Andrews. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends, and her treasured cats, Mystery and Jamarcus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Luella and Kenneth Goeman; beloved husband of 25 years, Mike; and brothers, Dusty and Kevin Hofstad.
Funeral Services for Lynda will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Divine Savior Lutheran Church, 3200 Hwy K South Hartford, WI 53027, with Rev. Douglas Stowe officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.. Immediately following service, committal at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
