Lynda Kay (Epley) Mullins was called home on August 26, 2025, at the age of 82.

Born to Ishmel and Ina (Smith) Epley on June 9, 1943, in Duncan, Oklahoma, Lynda was raised in south-central Oklahoma in the Tussy, Pernell, and Fox areas graduating in the Velma-Alma Comet Class of 1961.

Lynda married her high school sweetheart, Charles Eugene (Gene) Mullins, on August 19, 1961 in the Ratliff City Church of Christ. To this union they welcomed and raised two daughters, Rena Rae and Cindy Ishelle. They lived in several communities following Gene's employment in Texas, Kansas, Wyoming, and Colorado, eventually returning to Oklahoma.

Lynda delighted in being involved in her daughters' activities and was often found teaching Sunday school, vacation bible school, and immersed in being a "Home Room Mom" whenever possible. A seamstress, she took great pride in making many of her family's clothes throughout the years. She was a formidable parent, staunchly adamant that her beliefs and expectations be followed.

After returning to Oklahoma, Lynda became a licensed real estate agent and broker and a property/casualty and life/health insurance agent.

Lynda is predeceased by her parents; sister, Paula Conditt; brother, Charles Epley; infant siblings, Nelda Fay and Reece Vaughn; brother-in-law, Glen Welch; sister-in-law, Toni Epley; and niece, Lanette Conditt.

Lynda is survived by her daughters, Rena (Grant) Hines and Cindy Mullins of Stillwater; grandchildren, Kinzy Taylor of Stillwater and Gage (Kinzi) Hines of Glenpool; great-grandchildren, Cace Taylor and Harper Hines; sister, Freida Welch of Midland, Texas; brother-in-law, Eual Conditt, Jr. of Burneyville, Oklahoma; nieces; nephews; extended family; and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Perry Green Valley Nursing Home for their compassion and kindness over the years; and Companion Healthcare Hospice for their care and support during her final days.

Following her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Trout Funeral Home of Perry has been entrusted with her final care.
