Lynda G. Ross, age 68 of Marion, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at her home. She was born on January 15, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Donald Grayson and Wilma (Church) Ingles, and on June 2, 1979, she married her best friend, Larry E. Ross.
Lynda graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in the arts, and she retired after 37 years as a graphic designer in the PR department at OSU Marion. She was a devout Christian who truly loved her God, and she was a sweetheart who never knew a stranger. She always wanted to help those around her and never wanted to be a burden. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Elam; her sister Beverly Ingles; her brother Don (Shannon) Ingles; her grandchildren Kaiti Rose, Ryan Grayson, and Chloe Michelle; her nieces and nephews Jessie (Andy) Speakman, Kolton, Fallon (Alex Pitchford), and Grason Ingles; her great-niece and -nephew Brayson and Lyla; and her aunt Kay (Glenn) Honaker. She also left behind many close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Wilma Ingles and her brother Craig Ingles.
Family and friends may gather to honor Lynda's memory on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 10 am to 11 am at the Boyd Funeral Home. Services will take place at 11 am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Caledonia Cemetery.
