Lynda G. Tisch, 82, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on August 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and love.
Born on August 13, 1942, Lynda was born in Huntsville, Alabama before moving to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio where she lived most of her life. She went on to be a successful banker where she worked for Falls Savings and Valley Savings prior to her retirement in 2005.In addition to her parents, Lynda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 60 years Fredrick Tisch. Also preceding her death was her brother Stacy (Sharon survives) Payne. She is also survived by her sons, Marc and Michael (Sinda) Tisch and daughter Michele (Tim R.) Koepnick; her cherished grandsons, Matthew (Crystal)Tisch, Joshua (Marisa) Koepnick, Travis (Tiffany) Koepnick, Nolan (Stet) Tisch and Landon Tisch. Lynda also had 8 great grandchildren.
Linda's greatest joy was her family. She found happiness in the simple pleasures of life - flower gardening and cooking for her family and listening to music, especially the Bee Gees and Alan Jackson. She was an avid football fan. Being raised in Alabama she was a lifetime Crimson Tide fan. In addition to that, her and Fred would go to summer football camps to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers prior to season kickoffs. Her warmth, humor, quick wit and generous spirit touched everyone who knew her. She had a deep faith in Christ and will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The family would like to express appreciation to the staff at Bath Creek Estates and Crossroads Hospice for their care of Lynda during the last days of her life.At Lynda's request, a private ceremony will be held for the family.
