Mrs. Nancy Lynn "Sam" Tisch (Elenbaum), of Alden, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on August 3, 2025, at the age of 82. Her passing followed a courageous and graceful battle with late-stage lung cancer, during which she was cared for by Munson Hospice.
Born on December 28, 1942, in Sebewaing, Michigan, Nancy is survived by her husband, John Daniel Tisch; son John Edwin Tisch (Tara); daughter Kris Cuneo (Mike); and her grandchildren Caleb, Hunter, Sam, Alex, and Hadyn. She also leaves behind three great-grandchildren: Theo, Lily, and Liam.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be planned for a future date.
In lieu of flowers to the family, donations may be made in Nancy's honor to Munson Hospice (Munson Healthcare Foundation, c/o Munson Hospice, 1150 Medical Drive, Traverse City, MI 49684).
