Lyndel "Joe" Max DeShazo, age 84, of Viola, Arkansas, passed away on January 18, 2026, in West Plains, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 23, 2026, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Craig Golden officiating, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Mount Calm Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Mount Calm Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
