Obituary of Lynette Rachelle Montgomery
Lynette Rachelle Montgomery peacefully passed away at home on Thursday, April 6th, 2023 at the age of 45. She is lovingly remembered by her parents, Terrance and Brenda Powell; daughters, Raven Christian and Mckayla Turnipseed; son, Izeah Turnipseed; sister, Theresa Montgomery; brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Michelle Harris; nieces, Paisley Harris and Daisy Harris; nephews, Chancellor Montgomery and Kellan Harris; her aunt who was like a second-mom, Anita Kreighbaum; and her aunt who was like a second-sister, Rachel Parks and her life long companion, Broderick Turnipseed; her sisters, Amy Craighead and Crystal Craighead; her brothers, Bernard Craighead, Eddie Montgomery, and William Craighead; and many nieces, nephews, special family members, and friends. She was preceeded in death by her brother, Jeffery Craighead.
Lynette was the most beautiful soul you would have ever met, inside and out. She had a personality as bright as the sun; eyes as blue as the ocean; with a heart of pure, pure gold. She truly had an impact when she came into your life, and was the type of person to always check up on everyone in her contact list. She never met a stranger, and genuinely loved to help anyone she could, in any way that she could. Lynette was always looking out for everyone in her life, no matter what. She was the epitome of unconditional love. Her boisterous laughter and beautiful smile would light up every room. Her family and friends will miss everything about her, even the many pranks and jokes that she was known for. She will always be remembered and never, ever could be forgotten.
A funeral ceremony will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home, 4720 Augusta Rd. Lexington, SC 29072. Family will greet friends Tuesday, April 11, from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
