Lynn Dale Barker, 87 of Conway, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 19, 2026. He was born September 25, 1938 in Romance, AR to the late Alford and Sarah Elizabeth “Lizzy” Barker. Besides his parents, Lynn was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Ermalene; daughter, Kathy Lynn Barker; brothers, Wynn Barker, Glenn Dale “Buck” Barker, and Jewell Barker; sisters, Sharon Kay Harrison and Adel Banister; and son-in-law, Willie Lasley.
Lynn was a true cowboy, and an all around handyman. He could build/fix anything.
He is survived by his children, Harold Barker of Conway, Diane Lasley of Enola, Kenny Barker (Jessica) of Quitman, Kathy Alene Cupit of Clinton, Russell Barker (Chrissy) of Conway, Alfred Barker (Shelly) of Conway; and a brother, James Barker. He is also survived by grandchildren, Gary Lasley, Jasmine Lasley, Isabella Lasley, Lane Johnson, Dean Barker, Dallas Barker, Wyatt Barker, Abbey Barker, Waylon Barker, Paisley Barker, Lawaynea Barker, Alfred Barker Jr, Cheyenna Miner, Dustin Barker, Shelby White, John Barker and Dylan Barker; 19 great grandkids and two on the way.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2026 at the Conway Cowboy Church, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow to Gray Cemetery in Joy, AR.
