Lynn Rae Couch (Diebel), 72, of Owendale, passed away in her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 9, 2025. Lynn was born on July 3, 1953, to the late Raymond and Guardella (Beck) Diebel in Pigeon, Michigan, and was a graduate of Owen-Gage High School. A woman of many talents and passions, Lynn held numerous positions throughout her years but especially loved helping people and animals. Her most recent occupation was driving semi with her husband Chris Couch, whom she married on July 12, 1993. He survives her and fondly cherishes the many long hauls they had to the West coast in the semi together. In her free time, Lynn loved to ride her Harley, crocheted up a storm, and was a talented musician who played many instruments. She raised a whole zoo full of animals over the years which are too numerous to mention and was a crafty woman who filled her free time with countless hobbies. Lynn is remembered as being an honest woman who always spoke her mind, and who loved quiet moments such as birdwatching or sitting on her front porch and watching deer.
Lynn is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Chris Couch; sons Chris (Jennifer) Eden of Fenton, Jamey Eden of Crossville, TN, and Tony Hockmuth of Owendale; grandchildren Kyle (Rio) Eden, Matthew (Monica) Eden, Chloe Eden, Max Eden, Madison Hockmuth, Emily Hockmuth, Raelynn Hockmuth, and Wesley Hockmuth; great-grandson Oakdin Hockmuth; sister Sandy (Wayne) Wisenbagh of Pigeon; and brother Mark (Wendy) Diebel of Bay City; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members, friends, and her beloved dog Stella.
