Lynn Foreman, 83, of Tyler, Texas went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 21, 2026.
She was born La Rosa Lynn Jones, July 12, 1942 in McCamey, Texas, to Margaret Ella Hill and T. J. Jones. She was raised in love by her maternal grandparents Gussie Delavan Chastain and Benjamin Doroseo Hill.
Lynn enjoyed swimming during the summers at the McCamey City Park. She graduated from McCamey High School, where she excelled in choir, singing in a women’s quartet. After high school, she went to work for General Electric in Midland, Texas.
Lynn Married John David Foreman February 1, 1961. She was a devoted wife and mother, making a home in the many places David’s work with Humble Oil, later Exxon, would take them over the years. They shared 59 wonderful years together.
She is survived by her two daughters Julia Lynn Foreman, Margaret “Meg” McBride and husband AJ, all of Tyler, Texas; her granddaughter, Sarah Lynn McBride of Tyler; and her grandson David Garrett Foster of Aurora, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her husband, John David Foreman of Roby, Texas.
Lynn will be laid to rest beside her husband on January 31, 2026, at Roby Cemetery.
