Lynn Forrest Pipkin age 78, of Lebanon Junction, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 20, 2025. He was born in Henning, Tennessee on January 25, 1947, to the late Forrest Cunningham and Mary Pipkin.

He was a member of Lebanon Junction Church of Christ. He liked to watch episodes of Gunsmoke and any movie starring John Wayne. Lynn wanted to fish like Bill Dance and shoot like John Wayne. He also enjoyed his time working with the Bullitt County Sheriff's Department, and his time volunteering with the Lebanon Junction Fire Department.

His family will always remember how Lynn and Patty would enjoy sitting on their porch with a cup of coffee always ready for great company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister, a daughter, Teresa Pipkin and his loving wife of 60 years Patricia "Patty" Pipkin.

He is survived by his daughter, Tracy Thompson (Jeff); sons, James Pipkin (Kim) and David Pipkin (Alicia); 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 brother; 4 sisters and a host of family and friends.

In keeping with Mr. Pipkins' wishes the family has chosen cremation in trusting Hardy-Close Funeral Home with arrangements. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
