Lynn Schwendeman, born February 11, 1953, passed away on November 20, 2025, surrounded by love. He was the cherished son of the late Jack Schwendeman and Margaret (née Sands), and the devoted husband of Vickie (née Goins), his best friend and partner in life.

Lynn's greatest joy was his family. He was a proud and loving father to Amber (Christopher) Bates and an adoring grandfather to Tyler, Ava, Ryleigh, Carter, and Jackson. His heart was as big as his smile, and his family always came first. He is survived by his brother Daniel Schwendeman and preceded in death by his sister Cheryl.

Known for his warmth, humor, and generosity, Lynn was a true family man who loved nothing more than spending time with those he cared about. He enjoyed golfing, bingo nights, baseball, basketball, and cheering on his beloved Ohio State football team. His friendships were deep and lasting, and his presence could light up any room.

Throughout his life, Lynn worked in wholesale and even spent time as a substitute teacher, sharing his kindness and wisdom with others. He lived fully, loved deeply, and left behind a legacy of compassion and joy.

Lynn will be remembered not only for the life he lived but for the love he gave. His memory will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Sunset Chapel, located at 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. Immediately following the visitation, funeral services will begin at 12:30 PM at the same location.

Following the service, a graveside ceremony will take place at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 3700 Center Road, Avon, Ohio.
