Lynn Ann Steck of Shavertown passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
Born in Luzerne to John and Ruth Steck, Lynn, a bright and creative soul, graduated from Wilkes University with a fine arts degree and was formerly an advertising executive in New York City. She was retired.
She was immensely loved by her family, and her unfailing charisma will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her siblings, Carol Kole, Larksville; John Steck Jr. and his wife, Lori, Bethlehem; and Gail Kimmerle, Dallas; and nieces and nephews, Jessica Maney, married to Eric Maney, and their son, Druid, Atlanta; Brittany Kole, New York City; and Christian and Olivia Kimmerle, Dallas.
A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Therese Church, Pioneer Avenue, Shavertown. Interment will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Shavertown. There will be no viewing observed.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lynn's honor to the SPCA. Condolences can be sent at betzjastremski.com.

I had the best honor to help Lynn and be there for her in the past year. She certainly became like family to me. She was a bright, beautiful and special light and soul. Lynn will be sorely missed, no doubt. My deepest condolences to her family.

So Sorry to hear this. I was a classmate of Lynn's at St John's elementary school in Luzerne through 6th grade - then later at Central Catholic. We were both Luzerne residents.
