Lynn Young

Lynn Young, 86, of Heber Springs, Arkansas formerly of Timbo, Arkansas entered into rest on November 1, 2025 in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas.
Lynn was born January 29, 1939 in Newnata, Arkansas to the late Allen and Della Trammell Long.
She was a school teacher, and a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed watching basketball and The Golden Girls, as well as doing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her husband Bill Young, her brother Jimmy Long (Aleta) of Mt. View, Arkansas, her children Victor Lawrence (Debbie) of Clinton, Arkansas and Cindy Vaughan of Choctaw, Arkansas, her grandchildren Julie Boxnick (Eric) of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Eric Draxten (Jennifer) of Shreveport, Louisiana, Krystle Harris (Todd) of Sherwood, Arkansas, Jacob Lawrence (Kristina) of Conway, Arkansas, her great-grandchildren Kaylie, Nyla, Trey Harris of Mayflower, Arkansas, and Atticus Draxten of Shreveport, Louisiana, and her 5 Step Children: Roy Young, Donald Young, Mary Bahan, Janet McCue, and Rodney Young.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Huey Long, and two grandchildren Joshua and Robert Gene Vaughan.
Visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Friday, November 7, 2025 with funeral services starting at 1:00pm at Olmstead Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Rolland, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Newnata, Arkansas.
