Lynne Marie Breitenstein, 73, of Edgewood, KY passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at her home.
In Lynne's spare time she enjoyed working puzzles, dying Easter eggs and caring for her many baby dolls. She enjoyed working at New Perceptions which opened the door for employment to individuals with development disabilities. Lynne also loved living the last 22 years of her life through one of The Point homes where she gained her independence and learned new day to day challenges.
Lynne was born November 8, 1951 in Covington, KY to George Breitenstein and Marie (nee: Flick) Breitenstein. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Nancy (the late Ronald) Mielech.
Lynne is survived by her siblings, John (Diane) Breitenstein, Thomas (Carol) Breitenstein, Janice (Stephen) Vaal & Christine Breitenstein Gibson. Lynne is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
Visitation 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Holy Spirit Parish (formerly St. Stephen Parish), 825 Washington Ave., Newport, KY 41071. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am, with Rev. Msgr. William F. Cleves, officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Point / Arc, 104 West Pike Street, Covington, KY 41011 or New Perceptions, 1 Sperti Drive, Ft Mitchell, KY 41017.
