Lynne M. Hamilton, age 70, resident of Two Rivers, died late Wednesday evening, February 11, 2026 at her residence after a lingering illness.
Lynne was born January 26, 1956 in Hillingdon, United Kingdom to Keith and Sylvia Edwards. Following high school graduation in the UK she attended Aylesbury College of Further Education earning a Secretarial degree. Lynne married Mark A. Hamilton in Ellsworth, Maine on April 15, 1995. She resided in Maine from 1987-2001, working at the Schooner Club on base at U.S. Naval Security Group Activity, Winter Harbor, Maine as well as The White Birches Motel, located in Ellsworth. Lynne traveled extensively with her family, spoke fluent Italian, was an avid gardener and enjoyed visiting the Green Bay Botanical Garden and West of the Lake Botanical Garden in Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Hamilton; daughter & son-in-law, Elaine and Levi Tarbell of Oskaloosa, Iowa; son, Duncan Hamilton of Scotland; eight grandchildren: Caitlyn, Lauren, Ethan, Tobin, Talon, Lilian, Ben, and Eleanor; and one sister, Kathryn "Kati" (Jacques) Gholam of Chesham, England. She is further survived by brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law: Kris (Heather) Hamilton, Kathryn (Daniel) LaBanca, Lee Ann (Terry) Steiner; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Peter Edwards; and her father & mother-in-law, Kenneth and Monica Hamilton.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2026 at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th Street in Two Rivers. Deacon Mark Knipp will preside at the service, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels Friday morning from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m.
The funeral service will be livestreamed.
