Lynne Marie Lowman, age 84, of Deford, passed away Aug. 3, 2025. She was born Jan. 20, 1941 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Pontiac.

Lynne lived a life rooted in faith, compassion and unconditional love. As a devoted wife to Bill Lowman and a proud mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and foster parent. Lynne dedicated her life to creating a home filled with warmth, stability and care.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bill, her children, Thomas Tietjens, Constance (Brent) Hudson, Dennis (Brittany) Tietjens, Billy (Shannon) Lowman, Michelle (John) Lowell, Ryan (Amy) Lowman and Heather (Michael) Crampton. Lynne's legacy continues through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy, Megan (David) Allen, Dustin Tietjens, Katie (Justin) Williams, Lauren Halcomb Hudson, Paige Hudson, Bryce Tietjens, Hunter Tietjens, Trever Tietjens, Gabriella Tietjens, Anastasia Weiss, Addalyn Tietjens, Nicholas (Nicole) Lowman, Matthew Lowman, Katie Lowell, Randall Lowell, Connor Lowman, Drew Lowman, Kayla Crampton, Elliot (Megan) Stewart, Madilyn Crampton and Isabella Crampton, great-grandchildren, Evette and Evan Allen, Sophie Williams, Olivia and Johnathan Lowman and Gage Lowell. She is also survived by her brothers, Denis (Ginger) Blaquiere, Michael (Barb) Blaquiere, and nieces and nephews, Lindsey Blaquiere, Stewart (Aubree) Blaquiere and Matthew (Giles) Hassan.

Lynne served as a licensed foster parent for over 35 years through the Department of Human Services and Lutheran Child and Family Services. She was especially devoted to helping teenage girls in need of a stable and loving home. Many of the young women who came through door remained connected to her for years, often considering her a second mother.

Faith was the foundation of Lynne's life. A devout Catholic, she held a deep love for the Holy Trinity and spent much of her time studying Scripture and sharing God's word with those around her. Her generosity, wisdom and quiet strength touched countless lives.

One of her greatest joys was spending time at Fort Wilderness Campground Resort in Walt Disney World, where she created lasting memories with her family.

Above all, Lynne will be remembered for her boundless love and the family she built---one that extended far beyond bloodlines.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Parish, St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 3031 McAlpin Rd, Ubly, on Thurs., Aug. 7, 2025 at 11 AM with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Fr. Aruna Kumar officiating. A private family visitation will be from 10 AM until 10:30 AM. Friends may gather from 10:30 until 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness in Lynne's memory---whether through helping someone in need, sharing a prayer, or simply offering a warm smile to a stranger.
