Lynne M. Risser, 71, of Myerstown, died Thursday, January 30, 2025, at her residence.
She was the wife of David C. Risser, to whom she was married 45 years.
Born in Lebanon, PA on October 24, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Russel W. and Marian J. (Houser) Patches.
Lynne was a 1971 graduate of ELCO High School, and a 1975 graduate of West Chester University, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. She was a member of Myerstown UCC, where she was Coordinator of Church Music for twenty years. Lynne was employed as a computer systems administrator at APR Supply, Lebanon, for over 30 years, retiring in 2020. She was a member of Sigma Alpha Iota, and enjoyed playing the euphonium in many local bands.
In addition to her husband, Lynne is survived by a son, Joel, husband of Jessica Risser, of Myerstown; grandson, Stanton; sister, Holly Patches, of Reading; brother, Eric Patches, of Connecticut; and nieces, Megan and Rachel.
There will be no service at this time. Inurnment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ringgold Band, 3539-A Freemont Street

Lynne and I were SAI sisters at West Chester. We were also roommates her senior year. I remember her, fondly.

Lynne and I were SAI sisters. I remember studying for acoustics tests together. Her help got me through that class!
