M. Enarson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 4, 2018.
Mary Barbara Enarson was born in Denver, Colorado in 1934. She graduated from East High in Denver where she met her husband of 64 years, Norman. They married in 1953, moved to Tucson, Arizona and settled in California in 1956.

Barbara's life was devoted to her family and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a prayer warrior and spent time each day reading the Word of God. She was a constant companion to her husband, Norm, and was involved in her children's education, sports, and many extra-curricular activities…. she was always there! Barbara was known for her Enarson tacos, English pasties, and spaghetti. The door to their home was always open. She was blessed with amazing family, friends, neighbors and caregivers.
As a founding member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Barbara was part of the Prayer Group for over 30 years, meeting weekly to pray for the needs of others. She was a Deaconess, assisted in the office and cooked meals for weekly Kirk Night dinners.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Norman, and son, Loren. She is survived by her children: Gene and girlfriend Joni, Karen and husband Tom, Shawn and wife Diane. Grandchildren: Danielle and husband Benoni, Allison and husband Sam, Hannah, Mackenzie, Kylie, and Jackson. Great-grandchildren: Levi, Josiah, Sophia, Victoria, Madelyn and Luke.

We are thankful for family, friends and caregivers who provided her with much love, prayer, and support.
"Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31
