M. Gladys Fino

M. Gladys Fino, 96, longtime resident of Milford, NH died on February 16, 2023 at Ridgewood Center in Bedford, NH.
She was born in Everett, MA on July 10, 1926, a daughter of Clifford and Mary G. (Burke) Longueuiel. Gladys was raised and educated in Everett, MA and graduated from the Whidden Memorial School of Nursing. She made her home in Milford, NH for more than 60 years.
Gladys was a registered nurse for more than 30 years and had been employed at Saint Joseph Hospital and also as a visiting nurse. She was an avid reader, enjoyed travelling, cooking, ceramics, baking, knitting, crocheting, and furniture reupholstering. Additionally, she was a member of the Hillsborough County Extension Service.
Gladys was a communicant of Saint Patrick Church, Milford, NH and a longtime volunteer of its SHARE Program.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard P. Fino, Sr., who died in 2002.
Family members include six children, Mary Fino of Milford, NH, Richard P. Fino, Jr., of Amherst, NH, Mark Fino of Melbourne, FL, Michelle Fino of Nashua, NH, Lisa Fino Thomas of Lyndeborough, NH, and Christopher Fino of Milford, NH. Gladys also had 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Calling hours are on March 2, 2023 from 5:00-7:00pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A memorial mass will be celebrated on March 3, 2023 at 11:00 am in Saint Patrick Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Burial will be in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Amherst, NH at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Saint Labre School, P.O. Box 216, Ashland, MO 59003-9989.
