M. Jayne Hohl, 92, died on April 20, 2024.
She was born and lived in Akron, Ohio. Jayne graduated from Ellet High School. She was employed at General Tire prior to working at Macy’s for 25 years. Jayne was a member of the Oak Hill Presbyterian Church and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She enjoyed gardening, water skiing, golf, and bowling.
Jayne is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jacob Arthur Hohl. She is survived by her son, Jeffery Alan Hohl; and daughter, Colleen Rae Hohl.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church (2406 Ardwell Ave., Akron, OH) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a service immediately following presided by Reverend Brian T. Nutt. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Oak Hill Presbyterian Church.
