Mary Ruth (née Parker) passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025 in her 102nd year.
Beloved wife of the late William C. Hotz. Loving mother of William J. (Barbara), Denise E. Earley (John), Donna M. Slabinski (Joe), Maureen P. Ullrich (George), and the late Brian Xavier. Cherished “Gran” of James Ullrich, Nicole Devitt (Tony), Erika Perry (Tim), Joseph F. Slabinski IV (Jenn), William C. Hotz (Megan), and Alexandra P. Bonecorse (Chris). Dearest “Grammy” of Edward, Anthony, Jude, Grace, Elizabeth, Rosalie, Christopher John, and Parker.
Ruth’s life was filled with love, faith, and family and over a century of kindness, wisdom, and grace that touched all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her wonderful life during a viewing on Thursday, November 6th, from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox Street, Philadelphia, PA 19137. (Valet parking on premises)
Ruth’s funeral mass and interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, her family kindly requests donations in Ruth’s memory to La Salle College High School, 8605 W. Cheltenham Avenue, Wyndmoor, PA 19038.
