She was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, on August 30, 1940, and was a long-time resident of Lakewood, New Jersey. She graduated from Averett College and received a master's degree from Kean University.
She was a member and served as an Elder at the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church. Her careers included teaching at the Bloomfield New Jersey Elementary School and counseling, helping many people deal with personal problems and heal.
She was preceded in death by her brother Bruce and survived by her beloved children Tracee, Douglas and Stephen, as well as seven grandchildren, all of whom she loved and treasured.
Her family will be celebrating her life at the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church, 701 Forman Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey 08742, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
