Mary and Jack Hubbard
September 25, 2023
Donna was my husband Jack's only remaining Walsh first cousin. His mother Marion (Walsh) Hubbard and her mom Betty (Walsh) Holden were sisters. Jack knew her as a youngster; years later, we had a few Walsh family reunions in Weymouth (and possibly Marshfield) - this was the 1990s.
We kept in touch with Christmas cards. Then, earlier this year, I reached out to Donna to come visit Jack (in hospice care at home). She and Stu happily accepted. They drove over and brought many family photos. They had a lovely visit with Jack and promised to return.
Donna and I had several exchanges by text about planning a future visit and perhaps adding some information to Ancestry.com. Now I understand why my texts from June and the rest of the summer weren't responded to.
Jack and I are very sorry, and especially sad that we didn't know about her passing in time to reach out to Stu and Eric. Donna was a bright light. Her fabulous smile and the music in her soul brought happiness to us. I hope you can see that joy in this picture from her visit with her first cousin Jack in March 2023.
With great sympathy,
Mary and Jack Hubbard

Stu. And Eric
I am so sad to here this news......on behalf of both myself and the United States Postal Service I wish to thank you for Donna´s 35+ years of continuous service. I know Donna was instrumental in training me when I first arrived at the North Marshfield Post Office (and we ended up working together for 19 years)...Donna always carried the load and made things successful. She always went way beyond normal customer service.....she went all out for our customers and she was appreciated for it!
My sincere condolences,
Stan Kroll, Esquire

Stu and Rick - I am so sorry for this news. I have such great memories of your family while growing up - family trips and Great Herring Pond. Please know that my family is thinking of yours during this very tough time. Kim (Phelps) Nelson

My summer memories are filled with days at Duxbury Beach and sleep overs at the Fultz's, thanks to Donna. So sorry Dougie and I messed up your bed by jumping up and down and dancing on it too many times, Donna. Honestly every memory is filled with your smile and laughter. I was blessed to be part of your extended family for all those years. Thank you for your warm heart. -Jimmy.
