Mabel Norris Obituary
Mabel Diane Norris of Mitchellville, MD passed away at home on May 1, 2025 at the age of 74.
Diane was born May 21, 1950 in Washington, D.C., but spent her life living in Maryland. An old Hyattsville girl and a graduate of Northwestern SR High Class of '68. She was employed at District Photo Inc. in Beltsville for 42 years. She enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time at home tending to her azaleas.
She is preceded in death by her parents Gloria and Wilbert McPhee of Hyattsville, MD and step-daughter Robyn Davis of Boynton Beach, FL.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Stephen "Butch" Norris; step-son Brian (Laurice) Norris; sister Joyce (Jesse) Thomas; nephews Mike (Jen) and Steven Hagan; grandchildren Samantha (TJay) Weikle, Christopher (Cheyanne) Gibson, Zachary and Olivia; great-grandchildren Jaxson, Carson, Cadence and Colton.
A memorial gathering in honor of Diane will be held on Wednesday May 14, 2025 from 6-8 pm at Beall's Funeral Home in Bowie, MD.
