Mabeline Baker Obituary
A native of Wilkes County, NC she was the wife of the late Edward Hughes Baker and the daughter of Claude Riddle and Ava Lea Wells Riddle, both deceased.
Mabeline retired from Western Electric where she worked as a Project Manager for many years. She loved the Lord and time with her family. Mabeline enjoyed painting, planting flowers and bird watching.
She is survived by a son, Edward Hughes Baker, Jr., daughter, Tina Wan and her husband Leslie; grandson, Adam Wan; and four sisters, Linda Ryan, Janet Hicks, Peggy Cook and June Straughan.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Claudine Campbell.
A graveside service will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Efland on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 5100 W Ten Rd. Efland, NC 27243.
