Born on May 6th, 1944, Welsh, Louisiana, Mack lived a life marked by his devotion to his family and his commitment of driving a pulpwood truck hauling logs for 50 years. He was a steadfast man to his boxing, basketball, auctions, and going to the livestock sale barn. He was a loyal friend, always willing to lend a helping hand to his church family. Being out on his tractor was one of his most enjoyable, peaceful times.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rita Marie Harmon; children, Christopher Mack Harmon Sr. and wife, Shirley, Mack Arthur Harmon, Jr. and wife, Tara, Marshall LaMont Harmon Sr. and wife, Elizabeth, and Yolanda Rena Harmon, and daughter-in-Law, Lisa Harmon; grandchildren, Christopher Harmon Jr., Alexander Harmon, Sascha Harmon, Melanie McNulty, Emma Alfred, Jamari Harmon, Courtney Harmon, Ashton Harmon, Anthony Camoirano, Alexus Wilkins, Marshall Harmon Jr., Ka'Desia Harmon, Jayliana Harmon, Jonathan Goodley, Keylon Riley, Nikey Cole, Felicia Richardson, and Renesha Robinson; 35 great grandchildren; siblings, Arthur Harmon, Larry Harmon, Walter Harmon, and Tim Harmon.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joshua and Cinderella Harmon; child, Darrin Joshua Harmon; siblings, George Harmon, Jeanie Harmon, and Joyce Ann Harmon.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 30th, 2025, from 8:30 a.m., until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m., in the Reed Chapel at Riley Smith & Sons, 315 N 14th Street, Kinder, Louisiana. Reverend Rudell Kirklin will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Oberlin, Louisiana. A Repast will be held from 12 noon - 3:00 p.m., in the Smith Hall at Riley Smith & Sons.
