Obituary
Mack Earl McGlothian was born on March 25, 1954, in
Memphis, TN, 3 rd child of 7 to Rev. Norphless (N.H.) Sr and Willie Lee McGlothian. Mack accepted our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at a young age and was raised in the Baptist denomination. In 1957 his family relocated to
Milwaukee, WI, where he served as usher of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church pastored by his late father Rev. N.H. McGlothian Sr.
Mack attended West Division High School. Upon graduation, he went on to attend the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with dreams of becoming a history teacher. At the early age of 14, Mack became an employee of Kohls Food Store. His strong work ethics and commitment to good customer service earned him countless promotions. With years of experience under his belt and a keen eye for numbers, management noticed him and promoted him to store manager. Throughout his career Mack served as manager for several local stores including Galst and Food Town in addition to Kohls and was well respected throughout the industry.
Mack was a selfless man that gave his all to his career and his family. On July 3, 1977, he married his wife Cenzilia Ann, and together they began to build the foundation for their family. Throughout his life he loved basketball, especially his Bucks and football, but his favorite pastime was eating. There wasn't a plate he would pass up!
Mack was diagnosed with cancer and on Saturday December 20 th, 2025, he took his eternal sleep at the age of 71. Mack was preceded in death by his father Rev. Norphless (N.H.) McGlothian Sr., Mother Willie Lee McGlothian, and sister Maxine Tatum. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 48 years Cenzilia Ann McGlothian of Milwaukee, his sisters Dorothy A. McGlothian-Jenkins (Eddie) of Arizona, Annie R. Cook, Joann Tatum, brothers Earnest McGlothian III and Norphless McGlothian Jr., children Erronda Curry (Jerald), Wymoyia Lathan, Matthew McGlothian, Jaqualea McGlothian, and Jaela McGlothian all of Milwaukee WI. Grandchildren Azariea, Jerald Jr. (Amber), Kamdira, Ziikia, Sanyu, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Special love for his son-in-law Jerald Curry Sr., of Milwaukee, Clinton Abner of Mississippi and Eddie Jenkins of Arizona and his 4 extra special great grandchildren Karsen, Kallen, Rome and Kairi.
John 14
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Messages To Daddy
Daddy
Words cannot express how much my life will change without you. You stepped forward to take care of someone else's responsibility without missing a beat. You never made differences between me and my siblings. You were there to see me cross the stage for graduation, walk me down the aisle to my husband, and was there when I brought your grandkids here. I will be forever grateful for the memories with you, and I hope you knew just how much you meant to me. God called you home way too soon, but I know you are in a better place and no longer suffering. Take your rest and know that your presence will be missed. I love you, Daddy.
Rhonda
Father
Thank you for staying the course. Thank you for showing me the way by example. Your presence and dedication to family and people was greatly felt, and I could not imagine it any other way. I will continue to honor you in the way you taught me by example and hope to make you proud. Thank you for everything.
Matthew
Daddy
You were a loving father, a devoted family man, and a true friend whose presence meant more than words can express. You will be remembered for your kindness, your strength, and for always being there for us. We love you Dad and we are going to miss you so much.

Message for My Husband
My dear husband,
We have spent a lifetime together, a marriage of 48 years and during that time we built a family and raised three children that were taught to be respectful, treat people as you want to be treated, be their own person, and walk in the light of God as this is where your blessings are from. We helped raise five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren in the same light. You were the provider and made sure that we were alright and wanted for nothing. We were a team–you and I– that kept us whole as one and there was nothing we couldn't do when we set our minds to it.
Now I am one, but in my mind we will always be two forever and always in my heart. You only get this kind of love once in a lifetime. God put you in my path for He knew what I needed and He wasn't wrong. Thank you for sharing a lifetime with me.
Eternal peace and love,
Your wife, Ann

~ The Family
Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair.
Perhaps you sent a floral piece. If so, we saw it there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words that any friend could say.
Perhaps you were not there at all; just thought of us that day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much whatever the part.
