With deep love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Macy Elizabeth Diego, 33, who left this world on May 27, 2025.
Macy's vibrant spirit, fierce love for her family, and creative soul will be remembered always by all who knew her.
Macy was a woman of heart and talent, whose greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved son, Jamie Somers. Whether laughing together, creating art, or simply sharing moments of everyday life, the bond between Macy and Jamie was a beautiful and unbreakable one.
An artist at heart, Macy expressed herself through her creations with passion and imagination. From an early age, her talents were evident-not only in her art but also in her fearless nature. As a child, she broke boundaries and expectations, being in a swim team with her siblings, playing tackle football and soccer during her elementary school years with confidence and determination.
Macy is preceded in death by her nephew Don Diego, her niece Liana Porras, and her maternal grandparents Tony and Montie Colca. Their memories remained close to her heart, and now she rests peacefully alongside them.
She is survived by her loving mother Stacey Muñoz and her stepfather Victor Muñoz, her father Arturo Diego, and her cherished son Jamie Somers. Also mourning her loss are Jamie's father, Kevin Somers; her siblings Mikey Diego, Ashley and Paul Porras, and Brian Diego; her grandmother Cerie Segal; her best friend and sister in spirit, Milixa Perez; and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who will forever treasure her memory.
Macy brought joy, color, and compassion into the world. Her laughter, her loyalty, and her love will echo in the hearts of everyone lucky enough to have known her.
Macy will be deeply missed by her family and friends; may she rest in peace.

I didn´t know Macy long but I did have the pleasure of working with her recently. I enjoyed her company as she shared pictures of her son and her niece with me. We often laughed at silly work drama and encouraged each other. Hearing of her passing was a shock and felt like a literal punch to my chest. May she rest in peace and may her son and family be surrounded by support during these very difficult times.
