Saltillo- Madeline Brown, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. She was born on January 4, 1945, to Floyd Ives, Sr. and Frances Gault Ives.
Madeline’s faith was the foundation of her life. She loved her church first and foremost, the Pentecostals of Saltillo, where she found fellowship, purpose, and joy. Her devotion to the Lord guided her daily life and the way she cared for others.
She was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in her home and family. Madeline loved the outdoors, especially the ocean and flowers, and found happiness in the simple beauties of life. She cherished time spent with her family and grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.
Known for her outgoing personality, Madeline was truly unforgettable. She enjoyed playing bingo with her neighbors and built strong friendships within her community. Her warmth, laughter, and vibrant spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Madeline was married to Guile Fray Brown, Jr., and together they shared a life rooted in faith, family, and love.
She is survived by her children, Donna Turner, Sandra Wilburn (Kenny), Eric Brown (Cindy), and Renee Turner Senter (Randy); numerous grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; children, Jeff Brown and Theresa Bieller; and brother, Bill Ives.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. until service time Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Pegues, Tupelo.
Services honoring the life of Mrs. Madeline will be 1 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues with Bro. David Boyd officiating. A private family burial will follow at Priceville Cemetery.
