Madeline faithfully attended Valley Central Church. She served as their Secretary/Bookkeeper for 43 years, performing many other duties as well.

Madeline was preceded in death by her sisters, Genevia Wolfe Trimmer, Hazel Wolfe Bowers, Mary Wolfe Harper, and Maxine Wolfe Zirkle; brothers, Hubert L. Wolfe Jr., and Billy P. Wolfe, who were killed in action in Germany during WWII; and a special nephew, Brooklyn Bowers.

She is survived by special nieces, Peggy Bowers Cook, Billie Trimmer Zerkel, and Robin Bowers Heishman all of Edinburg, and Lisa Zirkle of Quicksburg; and by special nephews, Alan Harper of Beckley, WV and Michael Zirkle of Quicksburg; and by special grandniece Brenna R. Zirkle and grandnephew Michael B. Zirkle Jr.; and many other nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael Zirkle, Barry Armstrong, Ricky Estep, Jeffery Litten, Mike Rinker and Louis Hoisington. Honorary Pallbearers will be Greg and Debbie Litten, and Paul Nesselrodt.

We would like to sincerely thank all of the caregivers for their dedication and the exceptional care that was given daily, as well as the staff of Shenandoah Memorial Hospital.
