Rogers - Madelon Slagle, age 76 passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 surrounded by her loving family, at Salem Regional Medical Center.

Madelon was born on December 15, 1948, in Salem, daughter of the late Matthew and Betty Guy Dailey.

Madelon was devoted to her family and enjoyed planning parties for all occasions. Spending time with her family, especially her three great-granddaughters was her favorite way to spend the day. She was a member of New Middleton Fish and Game and volunteered for many of their events including fish frys, BB League and all the holiday parties. She also liked playing Bingo and playing cards, especially euchre.

Her husband, John D. Slagle, whom she married on June 1, 1968, preceded her in death on, December 18, 2006.

Madelon is survived by her daughter, Crystal Slagle of Rogers; her granddaughter, Bethany Vollnogle; three great-grandchildren, Miyah, Sabrina and Payton; and two sisters, Diane Risinger of Negley and Joyce Hodge of FL.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Harold Slagle, a brother, Ron Dailey, and two sisters, Debra Clipse and Linda Lee Dailey.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 27, 2025 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine, with Pastor Cindy Figley officiating.

Burial will take place at Glenview Cemetery, East Palestine.
