Madelyn Willis Miller, age 98, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, in Katy, Texas. She was born on April 25, 1927, in Birmingham, Michigan.

Madelyn attended Maryville College in Maryville, Tennessee, where she began a life marked by curiosity, faith, and deep devotion to family. On May 4, 1991, she married Orville Miller in Houston, Texas. They shared 34 loving years of marriage, filled with companionship, laughter, and steadfast support for one another.

Madelyn found joy in simple pleasures-square dancing, long walks, and being active in her church community. She was well known for her love of good food, especially anything made with beef, and she never missed an opportunity to enjoy a hearty meal with family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Orville Miller; her son, Keith Johnston, and his wife, Lynette; her grandchildren, Luke Johnston, Ashlee Gilbertson, Sasha Viebag, and Gracie Dixon; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her four brothers and three sisters; her daughter, Cathy Johnston; and her granddaughter, Kristin Dixon.

Madelyn will be remembered for her warm spirit, strong faith, and enduring love for her family. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
