French Funerals & Cremations - Wyoming & San AntonioMichael E Goldmann, 73, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away early Monday, February 16, 2026 with his family at his side.
Mike was the oldest son of Elmer and Bernice (Kirst) Goldmann, born in Fairbanks, Alaska. He spent his childhood years living in Virginia and Germany, as his father was in the United States Army. After his father retired from the Army, they moved to their hometown of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, where Mike developed the values that guided him throughout his life. After graduating high school, Mike joined the United States Army in 1972 and was deployed to Germany, where he served for two years and attained the rank of Specialist E5. Following his return home he was employed at Piggly Wiggly and attended Lakeland College where he worked on his degree in Computer Programming.
Mike was united in marriage to Pamela M. Senkbeil in November of 1977. He continued working at Piggly Wiggly for a short time longer before moving onto working at Heritage Insurance Company, as a computer operator. Mike moved to Albuquerque with his family in the early 1980s, where he built a life with his family and a career working as a systems programmer at Sunwest Bank, Bureau of Indian Affairs, ABQ Bank and Northrup Grumman. He retired in 2010 and enjoyed hiking, traveling and just relaxing. In recent years, Mike and Pam found happiness traveling together in their RV, embracing the freedom of the open road and the memories made along the way. He faced a five-year battle with esophageal cancer with remarkable strength and determination, meeting each challenge with courage and grace.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela M. Goldmann; his two sons and their families: Timothy Goldmann, his wife Jennifer, and their daughter Lillian of Katy, Texas; Andrew Goldmann and his wife Amber and their children Nolan and Rachael of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He is also survived by his brother, Ronald Goldmann, and wife Gail of Sheboygan, Wl; sister, Mae Goldmann-Teller, and husband Dave of Fort Sumner, NM; sister-in law Dianne (Senkbeil) Gatzke and husband Dennis of Sheboygan Falls, WI; brother-in-law Lawrence Senkbeil and wife Marilyn of Sheboygan, Wl; brother-in-law Russell Senkbeil and wife Carol of Sheboygan WI. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Bernice Goldmann of Sheboygan, WI, and his father and mother-in-law Marvin and RoseMarie Senkbeil of Sheboygan, WI.
Mass will be celebrated at Risen Savior Catholic Church,7701 Wyoming Blvd, on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 10:00, with Rev. Charles Ugochukwu, Celebrant. Interment will follow the mass at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd.
