Funeral services for Madison Alexander McClellan, Airman 1st Class, United States Air Force, will be conducted Monday, November 18, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at Calvary Baptist Church, 3831 Front Street, Silver Creek, MS, with the Reverend Doctor Bill Miller officiating.

Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Silver Creek with full military honors provided by the United States Air Force Honor Guard. 

Airman 1st Class McClellan, age 27, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in San Angelo, TX. Saulters Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

The family will receive friends Monday,1 hour prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church.

Madison was born on May 14, 1997, in Augusta, GA to Donald and Shana McClellan. A beloved son and brother, Madison was a graduate of Nicholls State University and an Airman 1st Class in the United States Air Force.

Madison’s passion was in writing, and he was the past editor and co-editor of “Mosaic” magazine of Nicholls State University.

Madison is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Donald and Frankie McClellan of Waynesboro, GA; maternal grandmother, Sandra Toole of Athens, GA; grandfather, Wayne Rowell of Reidsville, GA; mother, Michele McClellan of Silver Creek and his aunt, Dean Hall of Waynesboro, GA.

He is survived by his father Donald McClellan, Jr. of Silver Creek; mother, Shana McClellan of Athens, GA; brothers, Cullen McClellan of Atlanta, GA, Randall Shoemaker (Chloe) of Pineville, LA; sister, Mollie Bailey (Kenneth) of Sumrall; maternal grandfather, Larry Toole of Augusta, GA; grandmother, Betty Rowell of Reidsville, GA; aunts, Tamara Michaux (David) of Athens, GA, Donna "Cissy" LaRoche (Frank) of Brunswick, GA; Diane Quick of Augusta, GA, Veronica Burkhalter (Lyn) of Hoschton, GA; uncle, Gaston Rowell (Nikki) of McRae, GA; niece, Peyton Bailey; nephew, Hudson Shoemaker and 13 cousins.
