Madleine M. Watson, 92, Upper Providence

Madleine Watson (née Lenard), age 92, formerly of Oaklyn, NJ, wife of Bert D. Watson, passed away Thanksgiving Day, Thursday November 27, 2025 in the Brandywine Living Community, Upper Providence, PA.

She was born June 23, 1933 in Collingswood, N.J. to the late Rudolph and the late Doris (Beach) Lenard. Madleine graduated from Camden Catholic High School and enjoyed meeting and helping people as a Banking customer service representative. A life well lived, Madleine was a wonderful mother and loved her family. Earlier in life she enjoyed traveling with her family. Later in life, her community changed, as Madleine and Bert moved to the Brandywine Living Community, where she enjoyed going to the Valley Forge Casino, Brandywine Bingo, doing her jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with new friends.

Madleine leaves behind her adoring husband of 73 years; three children: Bert Watson (wife, Vickie), Doug Watson (wife, Roslin) and Dennis Watson (wife, Nancy); Six Grandchildren: Stephanie Walker, Doug (Aimee) Watson, Jennifer (Paul) Lagasse, Sean (Alison) Watson, Kristin (James) Camburn, Shane (Carly) Watson and twelve Great Grandchildren.

Predeceased by her sister Doris (Robert) Allen & brother Rudolph (Helen) Lenard.
